Chapter 1, 2 & 3
Compare the way Chip and Jonah. How do they think, what do they have in common, and how have their adoptions differed? Use evidence from your text to back up your claims.
Chapters 6,7,8
If you were Jonah, what exactly would you be worried about? As these events occurred, would you be "freaking out" like he is or would you be calm and focused?
Chapters 9, 10,11, & 12
There were many strange happenings/moments in these chapters. Which events do you determine to be the important ones to remember for later on in the book?
Chapters 13 & 14
Stop for a minute. Process the crazy details so far! Determine what makes sense to you and what doesn't. Write about it.
Chapters 15 & 16
Explain what Chip and Katherine hope to gain by making all those phone calls. Why is Jonah not helping them?
