JB is protecting them from E. He is protecting them from E because E wants something from Chip, Katherine and Angela. I think that E wants the time machine or he wants something from Angela. I think that he wants something with Angela because of what she saw in the prologue with the plane.

I think J.B. protected them from the enemy. I think the enemy was trying to keep Angela from telling Jonah, Chip and Kathrine about the time machine 13 years ago. J.B. saw the enemy trying to tell the others but it was to late. J.B. then talked the enemy and told the kids to scatter.

I think that JB would protect Jonah and Chip so that the secret of time warp could be protected as well. I think that E would use it to take over the world.
I think from the information I have read, that J.B is protecting Jonah and Chip from the people, that the letters tell us about, as well as E. I don't think that J.B has to do anything with Katherine. Only because she was not one of the babies on the plane. Angela may be involved in the J.B situation but not likely. Although they do have beef from the past. I believe E wants Jonah and Chip to come back to the future. I think this because when they traveled back in time it may have had a butterfly affect. Maybe a big tornado heading to destroy half of the nation. Or he wants to kill them, for something that there future/older, selves have done. I could go either way with E being the enemy. But I don't believe so. I know that the actions he has done within these chapters is questionable. But maybe he is only trying to warn them, and maybe he is even working with J.B. But we will only find out as we read further into the book.
Dakota Sasser From my reading I know that. E is the enemy but we do not know who e is. but what I think JB is protecting them from e is. That e is ether the dad librarian or the government. And JB is protecting them so chip Jonah and Katherine don't get locked up.
Addison Hollister It is obvious as to who JB is protecting Katherine, Jonah, and Chip from. He is trying to protect them from E. Trying to figure out E's intention with Jonah and Chip is a little more complicated. I believe that E is trying to redo his mistakes as to what happened with the plane incident. He is most likely going to attempt to kidnap Chip and Jonah and time travel them back to before the plane appears. What I am basically saying is I think E will use his time traveling abilities to give himself,and possibly other allies, a second chance at the mission.
Abril Ugalde From my reading, I think that J.B. was trying to protect Chip, Katherine, an Jonah from E. I think that E somehow knew Chip and Jonah's versions from the future and they were enemies. I think that E wants to capture them and destroy them before they become enemies in the future and somehow Jonah and Chip beat him. Or I think that he might want to take them back to the future so they can finish each other once and for all.
Parker Jones I think J.B. was protecting Chip, Jonah and Katherine from being harmed by “E”. I also think J.B. wants to protect Angela DuPre because she knows about the time warp. “E” probably wants to know how they know about the time warp and what they know. He might try to kidnap them so he can learn how to get into the time warp and go back in time. Maybe he has some unfinished business he needs to go back in time to the airport and complete. Whatever it was he couldn’t finish then but because he is stuck in this present time he needs Chip and Jonah to get him back.

Also maybe E wanted to bring them back to the plane because there was something that wasn't supposed to happen. Another example might be that he needs chip and Jonah to take him back to the past.

I think "JB" protected them because he thought that their was more for Chip and Jonah to figure out about their lives.

I think that E found out they know about the whole time warp thing and they are not supposed to know about it. Or maybe E needed Jonah and Chip to take him back into time.
Lily Pinson From reading these two chapters, I think that JB was protecting Jonah and Chip because "E" could have bad plans that he wants with them. I have a feeling that what ever it is that "E" has in mind is something that JB knows about and doesn't want "E" to do this thing. In my prediction, some of the things that I think "E" wants with Jonah, Chip, and Katherine is that whomever "E" is, knows that they all contain information. A possibility is that "E" was sent on a job to stop and take care of whatever it is that he was sent to get rid of. If my prediction is true, it is possible that "E" could become a great harm to Jonah, Chip and possibly Katherine. I am very excited to continue into this book and find out answers. I will have to wait for this to come though.
Casamaro White Based on what I read, I believe JB was protecting Jonah and Chip from E. I think this because I feel like E has bad intentions or plans for Jonah and Chip. I believe that JB knows something about E's plan that E doesn't know about. I think that E wants to see if Jonah and Chip know something about him. If they really were adults from the future E may want them back.

Based on what I read, JB is trying to protect them from E. To me, E is already like the antagonist in this book. He is trying to get something out of Angela, Chip, Jonah, and Katherine. One of the letters that Jonah and Chip received said “ They are coming back to get you.” The kids and I believe that this letter means that people like E will come back and get them. I know this because in the text it says “ Beware’. He quoted. They’re coming back to get you. That’s what the letter said. That’s who they were warning us about!” We don’t know what E wants with them though. I think that E will take them back to the future if he ever gets a hold of them.

In my opinion, E was trying to take Jonah and Chip, maybe back in time? Maybe E is going to ruin an event in time but he needs Chip and Jonah back, and JB is trying to stop him before he creates to much damage. E obviously doesn't seem like a good person so he could very likely be a big threat later on in the book. Maybe since E failed this time, he'll be back.

E wants to take Jonah and Chip possibly back to the future. He seems like he is up to no good. I do not think E can be trusted. We do not really know what he wants, but it is likely its not in their best interest.

J.B. is clearly protecting Katherine, Chip, and Jonah from the “E”. The reason why J.B was fighting the man in the library is because I think that “E” is trying to get information from them. Katherine, Chip, and Jonah have found so much information about the adoptions and the disappearing plane and “E” wants to know that information. I also think that “E” may be trying to kidnap Chip and Jonah and the other survivors on the list.
(E =enemy) (JB= Janitor Boy) I think JB was protecting them from E the enemy. JB was protecting Chip and Jonah from E because E might be a very dangerous person trying to hurt people. The enemy might want the information that only Chip, Jonah, and Katherine knows about the adoption. E might have done something to Chip’s computer to make the file delete itself or disappeared out of his computer. Since E is the enemy he probably wants something valuable or, some secrets that are about the letters or their adoptions, and items that belong to Chip and Jonah. So maybe another reason JB was protecting all three of them from E is because he was stopping E from getting the information. When JB left them the file on Mr. Reardon’s desk JB might have thought that they were just going to read it, not to take pictures or download the information on a computer. So maybe JB was the one who deleted Chip’s survival file for Chip, Jonah, and Katherine’s protection against E.

The reasons that jb was protecting them e was that jb is Jonah from the future. Another reason is that e is probley the man who is causing the time warp. The last reason is that jb is trying to stop e from time warping them. These are the reasons why jb is trying to protect Jonah and chip.

E wanted information that Chip, Katherine, and Jonah had found out by making the phone calls. To the kids on the survivors list. I think E is the reason why the list on Chip’s computer- the survivors list, the witness list, the files where Katherine and Chip were keeping checklists about who said what.(Now the information on the computer is gone.) Chip had already checked the DELETE file. Chip was scared that E had read the all the information that Katherine and Chip had collected.
In my opinion I think that J.B. was protecting them from E and any other government agents. I also think that J.B. was trying to protect Chip, Jonah, and Katherine instead of just Chip and Jonah because Katherine already knew so much about the situation. I think that E wants to make sure that Jonah, Chip, and Katherine don't reach out to any police about this "time travel" theory. According to the text, J.B. told Jonah, " Go Jonah! Hurry! And Jonah-I saw your note! You have to be careful! Careful where you leave anything that could be seen later...anything that could be monitored-" Since J.B. was in Jonah's house that also means that he could go into Chip's house. If J.B. was trying to protect Chip, Jonah, and Katherine from E than he could have erased the file on Chip's computer and took the file because he didn't want the government to know that Katherine, Chip, and Jonah were doing all of this to get answers to all of their questions.
Corbin Rollano I think JB was protecting them from E. E possibly wants to eliminate them. Or maybe E wants to send them back to another time. I think it's very intriguing that JB said "We have wronged you in time".
In my opinion JB might have not been saving them just giving them a false sense of trust. But he could have been saving them from the people that sent the letter saying "they're coming back to gt you",or that could have been JB.
In my opionion, I can't chose wich one is helping or just trying to take stuff from them. Or looking for what they know JB is trying to protect Chip, Katherin, and Angela from E. Because E is maybe trying to get something from them. But I feel like JB is not helping them either because he was giving them false info.
I think J.B was protecting them from E by kidnapping them. In the letters it said they are coming back to get you, they can mean E. I believe E wants to kidnap the kids to stop them from doing something in the future which relates to Angela's time travel theory. E also could want to stop the kids from learning anything new because they could uncover a crime or something secret. Both sides could have multiple reasons to protect and kidnap them.
Caden McKnight In my opinion I think that JB is just trying to protect them from E. I think that E want to take them and JB is one of the only things stopping him. I think that he plans put them up for adoption. I am getting that from page 82 where Mr. Reardon talks about an international baby smuggling ring.

I don't think that J.B has to do anything with Katherine. Only because she was not one of the babies on the plane. Angela may be involved in the J.B situation but not likely. Although they do have beef from the past. I believe E wants Jonah and Chip to come back to the future. I think this because when they traveled back in time it may have had a butterfly affect. Maybe a big tornado heading to destroy half of the nation. Or he wants to kill them, for something that there future/older, selves have done. I could go either way with E being the enemy. But I don't believe so. I know that the actions he has done within these chapters is questionable. But maybe he is only trying to warn them, and maybe he is even working with J.B. But we will only find out as we read further into the book.

Trying to figure out E's intention with Jonah and Chip is a little more complicated. I believe that E is trying to redo his mistakes as to what happened with the plane incident. He is most likely going to attempt to kidnap Chip and Jonah and time travel them back to before the plane appears. What I am basically saying is I think E will use his time traveling abilities to give himself,and possibly other allies, a second chance at the mission.

ReplyDeleteFrom reading these two chapters, I think that JB was protecting Jonah and Chip because "E" could have bad plans that he wants with them. I have a feeling that what ever it is that "E" has in mind is something that JB knows about and doesn't want "E" to do this thing. In my prediction, some of the things that I think "E" wants with Jonah, Chip, and Katherine is that whomever "E" is, knows that they all contain information. A possibility is that "E" was sent on a job to stop and take care of whatever it is that he was sent to get rid of. If my prediction is true, it is possible that "E" could become a great harm to Jonah, Chip and possibly Katherine. I am very excited to continue into this book and find out answers. I will have to wait for this to come though.

Since E is the enemy he probably wants something valuable or, some secrets that are about the letters or their adoptions, and items that belong to Chip and Jonah. So maybe another reason JB was protecting all three of them from E is because he was stopping E from getting the information. When JB left them the file on Mr. Reardon’s desk JB might have thought that they were just going to read it, not to take pictures or download the information on a computer. So maybe JB was the one who deleted Chip’s survival file for Chip, Jonah, and Katherine’s protection against E.
